In a data center, electricity is considered the main factor providing the power for server devices in the Data Center. The UPS battery is responsible for storing power for the UPS, while the power source operates normally. When there is a power failure, it may be due to a power failure. The battery acts as a power source to power the UPS to deliver power to the server, allowing the server to operate for the time it was designed for.

Ắc quy cung cấp điện cho UPS chủ yếu là Axit Chì do Van điều chỉnh (VRLA). Nó sẽ được giữ hoặc niêm phong trong các thùng làm bằng Polypropylene. Pin là loại pin không cần bảo dưỡng. Ưu điểm là không bị rỉ dịch gây hại cho sức khỏe.

Battery maintenance is essential. Due to a lack of maintenance, batteries may not be able to back up power to power computer equipment in the event of an emergency, resulting in losses that exceed maintenance costs.

The battery can be used according to the following usage:

  • Power reserve  – Power storage for UPS, security, telecommunications, medical laboratories, and IT data centers.
  • Motivation  – Found in traction, machinery, airport runways, and trams. 
  • Energy storage  – Energy storage systems in power plants, alternative energy sources such as solar systems or wind turbines.
  • Starting power  – Used in the crankshaft system in the engine.

VRLA battery structure

Lead-acid batteries have the following main components:

  • Sulfuric electrolyte solution (H2SO4)
  • Electrode + (PBO2) Electrode + (PBO2)
  • Electrode – (PB)

An electrolyte solution is a mixture of water and sulfuric acid. It is a catalyst in batteries.
