DT and EDT products are the latest lightning cutting designs that include many features and utilities for customers:
- It is divided into three types: DT1, DT2, and EDT2, which are designed to be compact while meeting high requirements and can be mounted on DIN rail.
- Fits all electrical systems TN-C, TN-S, TN-C-S, TT and IT
- There is no need to install additional protective fuses at installation sites with load currents below 315 A
- The protective lock enhances anti-vibration and shock resistance
- Status indicator: green = OK; red = FAIL
- There is a connection port for remote monitoring
- Conforms to IEC 61643-11:2011; EN 61643-11:2012; UL 1449 4th Edition.
DT1 (class I + II)
DT1 lightning arrester products provide the solution lightning protection reliable and efficient response lightning protection standards IEC Class I & II and UL Type 1 & 2 are certified by independent testing bodies. The DT1 series has a wide range of safety and efficiency features for the harshest environments and a wide range of applications in industrial applications The surge protection system as direct lightning protection (10/350 s waveform lightning impulse) and surge protection, induction (8/20 µs waveform lightning impulse).
DT2 (class II)
The DT2 surge arrester product offers many of the same benefits as the DT1 series but has been specifically designed to conform to the test parameters of the IEC Class II and UL Type 2 lightning protection standards. Type II / Type 2, DT2 is used in surge protection systems, inductive allowing precise protective lightning protection designs to be realized while keeping project costs low.
To distinguish surge arresters DT1 and DT2, apart from distinguishing by product code, it can also be distinguished by product size. In which, the DT1 series has a larger lightning arrester module height than the DT2 series (see figure below).
EDT2 (class II)
Similar to the DT2, the EDT2 series is also a line of surge arresters with lightning protection standards lightning protection standards IEC Class II and UL Type 2 certified by an independent testing agency. In addition, the EDT2 series is equipped with ERICO's TD (Transient Discriminating technology) technology, which is capable of distinguishing lightning, overvoltage, and overvoltage of the mains at 50/60 Hz industrial frequency.
