Power Distribution Unit (PDU) A Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is a device used to control and distribute electrical power to computers installed in racks within a data center. BLUELINE Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is a type of intelligent power strip that not only distributes power to other devices but also displays the power consumption status of the IT equipment installed inside the rack via the Internet for power usage analysis and management. Each device connected to the intelligent PDU’s output can be individually monitored.
The collected data can be analyzed to calculate the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), which is the standard metric indicating the energy efficiency of a data center.
The PDU (Power Distribution Unit) is a single-phase unit that is connected to the UPS. It can monitor the power status of the computer equipment installed in the rack through an LCD display.

Features of Intelligent Power Strip (Smart PDU):
Dải The power strip is manufactured using high-quality materials. It can withstand up to 55 degrees Celsius with an automatic cut off if the current exceeds the limit. The BLUELINE Intelligent PDU has the following details.
Input connector | : | Plug style IEC60309, IP44 – 16A/32A 250VAC |
Output connector | : | 10A 250VAC, Style IEC320 C13 |
Management Software
Blueline’s Power Distribution Unit has management software that shows an overview of the power consumption of each computer device connected to the output of the Intelligent PDU installed in the rack via the Internet. The admin can manage and prevent the risk of power overuse that is the cause of the data center's downtime and also prevent a fire.
