PVT1 and PVT2 are the latest lightning cutting designs from ERICO, including many features and utilities for customers:
- PVT1 and PVT2 are compact but meet high protection requirements, and they can be mounted on 35mm DIN Rail.
- Fits all solar power systems (Solar Power System)
- The protective clasp enhances anti-vibration and shock protection for Lightning Strike Modules
- Working status indicator (green = OK/red = FAIL)
- There is a connection port for remote monitoring
- Complies with EN 50539-11 standard
- UL 1449 4th Edition certified.
Applications of lightning arresters PVT1 and PVT2:
The equipment of the solar power system (Inverter, Charge Controller, DC box, ...) may already have built-in lightning cutting components, but the lightning current of these available lightning cutting components is slightly lower, so it does not guarantee the protection against lightning transmission for the system. Therefore, it is advisable to increase and equip more lightning protection devices with higher protection to increase safety during system operation.
The PVT1 and PVT2 surge arresters are installed at the DC junction boxes (DC Joint Box) or at the DC inputs of the DC/AC inverters (DC/AC Inverter) of the solar power system.

PVT2 PHOTOVOLTAIC SURGE PROTECTION CLASS II
